Pebble Valley as it's otherwise known, is a small village equidistant at the top of Loch Awe between Oban on the west coast of Argyll and Crianlarich heading towards Stirling.
Dalmally is one of the stops of the passing train from Glasgow to Oban and also a large farmers livestock market is located here where a number of regional farmers converge to sell and buy livestock.
About 5 miles west of Dalmally is the Cruachan Power Station, a hydroelectric power station with a dammed reservoir high in the Scottish mountains and a power station underground that you can visit by guided tour!
Other attractions at Dalmally include a 9 hole golf course and the Duncan Ban MacIntyre monument.
